Delivered in 2016 on a modest budget, this office fitout for fitness entrepreneur Sam Wood combined a playful design with professional functionality. Key services included interior design, custom furniture solutions, project management, and fitout delivery. The space embraced natural materials and a welcoming aesthetic, featuring a multi-use kitchen for filming, abundant greenery, and a standout boardroom table that doubles as a table tennis table. Through close collaboration, the project delivered a vibrant, creative workspace designed to inspire innovation and community.

Where Sophisticated Branding Meets Immersive Design
The Amber Lounge in Melbourne was a refined nightlife destination, seamlessly blending branding and interior design to create an atmosphere of warmth, elegance, and opulence. The branding work defined the venue’s identity, influencing every design element, from custom signage to thematic details. Rich amber lighting, polished finishes, and a palette of deep reds and golds enhanced the luxurious vibe. Custom furniture, an illuminated bar, and artistic wall panels brought the brand to life, while versatile seating accommodated both intimate gatherings and larger groups. This project demonstrated how integrated branding, and design can craft a cohesive, visually stunning, and functional experience for Melbourne’s nightlife scene.

BARCODE, an iconic Australian and American entertainment destinantion. When launched, the Times Square venue redefined NY nightlife with its futuristic design and immersive gaming environment. Originally opened in 2000, it featured in Sex and the City, and was a constant background figure in many Holywood productions. The project revitalised an abandoned retail space, blending its cultural legacy with modern, interactive elements. Key services included reimagining the glowing bar, vibrant media displays, and blending sleek industrial aesthetics with the original Mid-century shell. The design integrated technology, lighting, and innovative spatial flow to create a multi-sensory entertainment destination that epitomises bold innovation in the heart of New York City.

Since 2001, we’ve partnered with Strike Bowling to create uniquely themed entertainment venues that transport patrons from the moment they step inside. Whether it’s a 70s-themed motel fit-out or an underground anime subway station, our main objective is to design immersive spaces that leave people wanting to return again and again. Each venue incorporates bespoke lighting and furniture elements, along with functional layouts that create engaging, multi-purpose environments.

Working alongside our long-time collaborators, the Buchan Group, we played a key role in developing the branding and graphics for Sydney Town Hall Square as part of its 1999 redesign. We created a visual identity that reflected the square’s revitalised purpose as a vibrant public space. This included designing logos, signage, and various architectural graphic elements that enhanced the user experience while guiding visitors around the square. Our designs aimed to establish a cohesive look that complemented the architectural features and landscaping enhancements of the square, helping to communicate its significance as a community gathering place.
